That is the plan Barry. I want to move it back enough to sit behind the steering rack as well as go dry sump so I can shove it to the floor. My engine isn't a full PP, its a semi-pp with a monster streetport. I just modified my Xcessive LIM to add the semi's which probably isn't the most efficient as the stock UIM wasn't designed for 9,5000 rpm but the engine is quiet happy to go there all the same . I'm pretty sure my FD throttle body is going to be a restriction at some point, if it isn't already lol.

I love the Rocket Bunny kit personally. I'd say do it, but obviously you gotta love it for your car. thewird's 20B Track Beast Project Finally Started :D-image-2877374968.jpg thewird's 20B Track Beast Project Finally Started :D-image-3805578945.jpg

KS Burnout is probably the best kit in terms of maintaining the FD body lines. One of the things that draws me to the Rocket Bunny stye is that it's reminiscent of old school race car flares (rx-3, SA22C, Hakosuka GT-R, etc.)

Hurray, I'm making my car complicated again with AI. Simplicity was nice while it lasted

Also, finally found that mother **** Boomerang that has been draining my battery for the past 6 years. It was under the carpet under the drivers seat this whole time >_>. Weight added, weight removed, no real difference?

Yah, greatly improved. Down to around 50*C peak temps during a pull. I found out while getting ready for CSCS, my car had a nice crack in the manifold once again. I just fixed it with a MIG underneath cause I had no time to pull it off. That may have affected my HP somewhat but again no time to throw it back on the dyno. We'll see how it runs tomorrow.

Doesn't your EMS have aux injection control? Curious as to why you went with a standalone unit vs. using the EMS.

It was easier to do. I've been down the custom route before and sometimes its just easier to use something that is already packaged to work together. Everything I needed was in the kit. It would have probably cost the same or maybe a little cheaper to build it myself and control it with the Haltech but it would have taken more time to piece together instead of just having something all in one box.

I really don't have any time this year compared to last year to work on my car so I'm trying to do the bare minimum's to make it work.

Thanks, I was surprised I was able to pull off a 1:15.5 during time attack. Considering I didn't have the GT wing, was on old tires, and I felt a little rusty on track. That was done during the 2nd hot lap and I was feeling the 3rd hot lap was gonna be fast but then I stepped out a little wide turn 6 and caught a bit of the oil/coolant that was on the track from earlier which killed the lap time.

With the new powerband now my gearing is off also, I think I have to switch to a 4.77 pinion to match the powerband to the gearbox. Mostly because I can't use 2nd gear anywhere on the track and if I drop below 5k RPM it dogs now. I need like a gear 2.5 lol.

What did you tune to gain the WHP? more boost? timing advance? lower AFR? combination of everything?

I just installed water/meth on my car and am just curious?

Thanks!

Cars parked until I can afford and have time for the following upgrades/changes...

- 6 speed sequential dogbox
- dry sump and relocate engine 4 inches down and 6-7 inches back
- redo v-mount with bigger radiator and intercooler
- redo manifold in 321 stainless
- street cage
- theres also going to be some engine changes to pump out 800 rwhp as well

Basically, the next time the car comes out, it will be quite different.

Probably won't be coming out in 2016. Considering I want to spend about 25-30k on a gearbox, plus all the other stuff I want to do to the car, it will take a while before I come out again. However, when it does come out, its literally going to eat some records. It's not coming out again until I do everything I want to do to it cause I'm tired of bring it out just good enough to run. Aiming for 800-900 rwhp on a fully converted track car (about time) running on alcohol. The power is easy to make but gearbox and car setup is taking priority this time.
