A taste of spring
We had a bit of rain last night and today it's 8 C. I couldn't resist pulling the car out of the garage. It started on the first crank and had the usual low tire which I filled up while the car warmed up on the driveway.
Unfortunately, without insurance, all I could do was go up and down the driveway to clean the brakes a little then I turned it around and parked it back in the garage. Like that she'll be ready for the new exhaust I got in December.
It's a shame that we'll get one more snow fall though, I'm waiting until the first couple of rainfalls to wash the salt off the road until I call the insurance company for road coverage.

I know exactly how you feel there; I got home yesterday afternoon and pulled the car cover off.
Time to do an oil change and put my header on
Getting pretty anxious even though I can't put it on the road for atleast another two weeks, hopefully there's no salt left by then

This is exactly the thread I was thinking of starting. I pulled mine out today, 15 degrees in Calgary.
She fired first try. The add coolant light came on (wire had pulled loose). I let it warm up and then went for a half-assed - un insured rip around the neighborhood and loved every second of it.
Mis-shifed most gears, as a result of a long winter in the beater (92 Toyota corolla), but dear god did I have fun.
