As the title says, we've set a date for the swap meet. We are going to have this on Saturday, June 5th from say 10am to 5pm (or whenever people decide to leave) Joe from Classic Auto has been kind enough to open up his shop property for this event and even host a BBQ for us to have a bite during the day. There is plenty of space so feel free to bring all of the "treasures" you have collected but no longer need. Joe has told me there is even enough space for trucks and trailers for the guys who have lots of items they want to sell. If you have any questions feel free to send a PM to myself or Joe (classicauto). This should be a great event judging by the feedback from the previous thread. Time to start the list!

Edit: i wanted to know if anybody has a s4 coupe ecu for sale i fucked mine up and need a replacement before summers end . also i dont think i can bring my 7 by this year needs much more work done to it before it is show worthy and if anybody needs parts feel free to PM ( mostly s4/body parts some s5 parts )

 

Advertise this on every single kijiji site in ontario for at least 2 months before the event. Lets make this HUGE!

i dont think you should do that, you might get some fucked up ricers or some stupid idiots who ruin **** . but its up to you ? at least if you advertise here you get the people who actually love rotaries

 

Agreed, for the first go around I think it's best to just keep it within forum members and word of mouth. Just going on the response the idea has already had I think it will be a good turn out. I really don't want this to get out of hand.

Who cares who shows up? it's going to be rx-7 owners for sure, not ricers or idiots. they'll just be people who need parts for their 7's.

Considering this is being held on private property, I think that it should be Joe's call. I really don't think Joe wants a bunch of random people showing up on his property, eating his food, and possibly causing a disturbance....

I'd like to come too. I might have a few things to bring, mostly OEM FD parts, but might be worth it to some. I'm actually looking for a set of OEM dampers in good shape. If anyone's got a spring compressor, I'd even yank them out and swap for my R1 dampers....

that sounds good, but it would have to wait till tomorrow. the ECU's are in Grimsby at a friends place and I got to head the other direction tonight. My friend will bring them into work tomorrow though
