sunoco no more??
Sunoco still will exist but some are changing to Petro-Canada and Husky. I have started to use some Petro-Canada. It's advertised as being the exact same fuel as Sunoco and car runs the same so no worries about tunes. I thought Husky carried 94 too but I'm not sure if its the same?
In fact I ordered my petro-points card yesterday lol

I have yet to come across a husky or Mohawk out here that does not sell 94... Even the old run down ones
I hope they start carrying it.... That and AMA are my only reasons for going there.....

All the Sunoco's that turned into Petro's carry 94. Some of the old Petro's have installed new tanks for the 94 but not many so your best bet is to find Sunoco's that were converted to Petro's.

I was talking to a petro owner yesterday. It is the exact same 94 that sunoco used to carry since petro owns sunoco. I'm not too sure about huskey but all the new ones in my area only have 91. Personally I'm glad that petro finally sells good gas, now I can use my fleet card and let the company fill up my 7.

I am still using Sunoco right now, but the staff in that gas station said they will change to petro within 2 months, so yeah, time to shift to petro canada soon.... i guess... They carry the same 94.......

Actually, Suncor bought out Petro. They realized it'll be better to have a "Canadian" presense here instead of converting all the Petro's to Sunoco.
So they decided to close a majority of their stations, and a few of them will be converted to Petro. The rest were sold to Husky.
Majority of the Petros I have visited have Ultra 94 now.
About the only Petro I still have yet to see converted is the rest stop station I passby on 400 on my way to King Sideroad. That still hasn't been upgraded with the new tanks to carry Ultra 94.
The rest of the stations I run into have Ultra 94 now.

petro-canada has been supplying 94 octane for easily over 10 years.
i had my 240sx-RB25det in 2004. and it had to run on 94 oct minimum.
and before that
back in 2001 i had a 95 civic coupe with jspec SiR swap, and was filling up with 94......
back then i thought it would change something. lollllll beside costing more, it didnt change **** !!!

The Sunoco in Alliston was just converted to a Husky but i'm not sure if they've still got the 94. Also havent noticed if the Petro I use in Barrie has 94 as my dd is a Mazda 3 and my 87 7 doesnt run on 94.

So,can anyone start listing gas stations (name Brand) that actually carry the Higher octane gas?
around here it is only 91 octane.
Does anyone Believe in octane Boost to UP the octane in 91 Octane gas?

Octane booster is a waste of money. The highest one you can get is 60 points which is actually 0.6 octane and 1 bottle isn't enough for our big tanks so its even less. Your better off buying race gas and mixing it in the tank.

Dave, if you want to mix some higher octane gas, look into Torene or Xylene. Octane boosters in a bottle are a waste of time, for the most part they are only MTBE and/or Torene.
Xylene is what I'm doing.

In quebekestan, yes. Petro Canada had 94 ages ago.
In ontario. Petro Canada just started carrying 94 ( after suncor bought them )
keep your fingers crossed Trots, we have two Petro's in the bay. Maybe one of them will bring in 94. By the way i called The Steering Wheel the other day to buy some race fuel, but they don't carry it. Bummer- I thought they did.

I'm definitely not holding my breath, this town has a hard enough time selling 91! But yeah, I did the same thing with steering wheel. If you travel down south at all, look into Pro Race Fuels: http://www.proracingfuels.ca/ They're in Mississauga, I'm yet to try them but they seem pretty bad ***.
