Sumitomo HTR 200
I went with Sumitomo HTRZ because they are inexpensive, and people seem to love them, as do I. I got them at Tires 23 in the GTA, installed they were just over 500 for 225 45 17 and 255 40 17.
Give them a try.
Cheers,
Kevin

I just ordered a set of Sumitomo HTRZIII for my car, I've only read good reports on them plus at a great price.....win win. Like Kevin said give Billy a call at Tires 23.
Tell me how you like them Jim, I am loving the Sumi's on my car, just wondering how the newer ones do, they are a 220 treadwear right?

I'm running the HTR200's in 185/60R13. I got mine from www.tirerack.com. I think the final cost was $240 after shipping/duties (although they now calculate and charge your duties at checkout) and had them mounted for an additional $60 at OK Tire here in London. They ship very quickly too. From South Bend, Indiana, where their northern warehouse is, to here, it took two days. I was pleasantly surprised to see them at home when I got back from the states. Worked out to be almost the exact same price as a set of Kumho all seasons from the same tire shop. Great street tire if your not putting down too much power. My rears are shot after about 15000KM but I beat the hell out of them at DGRR and did a few hard burnouts. The fronts probably still have another 15000KM in them, but they will be used for spares. I will be ordering another set but wider as soon as I get some spare cash.
yeah I don't think you can beat the HTRZ.
I have 4 255-40-17's on my GTR. They're great in the rain, have stood up to my abuse and are very sticky in the dry.
And at $360 for a set of 17's, how can you beat that!
