Taking ideas on a good shifter, I'm not sure what I want that is why I am asking for suggestions.
I have an FC3C.
Please let me know!

I've got a Mazdaspeed shift **** that I shipped over from Corksport in the US. USPS, no duty, and the price was actually quite reasonable to start with.

Black, all leather with a baseball stitch. Dimpled on the backside with the Mazdaspeed logo embossed into the leather on the front. Gate pattern is also embossed. It's got a nice weight to it.

Direct screw on, but for the Series 5 lever only. If you have an S4, I think you're looking at universal fit type *****.

Why would you want a heavy shift ***? Is it to give more momentum, so you get a clear engagment sort of thing or what? ( I know its a stupid question, but I would rather ask an unwise question then remain forever unwise)

Heavier ***** give you a better feel to the engagement through the gears. There's probably a physics description of why due to momentum, end loaded mass, axis etc.

It's not an overwhelmingly better feel, but there is an easily perceptable difference.

I see. I noticed sometimes when I drive, I think its in, but it is not quite in so the shifter pops out. Today that happend to me, and I thought if my shift *** was a bit heavier, I would not have that problem lol.
