It would be nice to know what car you have.
By the way,"test pipes' are instant NO-GO in an Etest..you need the system pretty well stock.
Air pump and Catalytic converter to pass.

You'll probably get more success if you hop onto bcrotary.com. As for what styx says, it's true, you need to get yourself a catalytic converter.

BCrotary was up a couple weeks ago - looks like a site error. It'll likely be back when a site admin notices and resets or reloads the site.

you can find cheap after market converters for any size, just let them know u need one for an air pump. 60$ should cover it. test her and take it off till next text. as they dont last long!!

You don't need a full stock exhaust. If your car has an aftermarket exhaust, you will need to add a cat - pick up a big high flow cat, and get an exhaust shop to weld it in. I picked one up brand new off Kijiji as a leftover from someone's Camaro project, and had it installed for well under $200 - could have been under $100 if I just had it welded in, but I wanted it flanged so I could swap my RB mid-pipe back in if I choose in the future. Thanks to the great work at my favoured shop, it looks factory under there - everything straight, tidy, good welds. Having them make a section of straight, flanged pipe that can go in place of the cat is what is known as a "test pipe".
