Steve Kan Tuning session

Steve Kan will be here on the weekend of the 16th July. He is as most of you know, reputable and one of the top tuners from the states. If anyone is interested in having him tune your car P.M. for info.

Thanks Jim, thats correct.
As for the price, depending on your setup it starts at $400 and up for steves fee. Price range can be found at kantuning.com. Dyno time is $300, and Steves flight and accommodation is being split between the people who's car is being tuned. He will be here on Friday and Saturday. He has 8 cars booked so far, spots are limited.

Meh. I wanted to just test the stock throttle body vs the rotary works unit. That is a lot of $$ just to see if one generates a couple more HP.

sorry if i misunderstood, but you're saying that the price is $400 to start + $300 dyno + share of flight & accomodation? so over $700 for tuning???!!!

Total price starts from $400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map, up to $600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps. (these prices are from Steve Kans website-kantuning.com.) (take advantage of the currency exchange)

Then there is the dyno time which is $300

Then there is the flight and accommodation which is so far split evenly at $120.
That's a total of $820 on the lower end of the scale.
This may sound like a lot of money guys, but Steve is worth every penny. We spend far more on our engine, I think of it as cheap insurance.
Looking at it from a different point of view, if you were to Dyno at Steve's shop in the states he charges $275/ hour for dyno tuning. 2hrs would run you $550, $825/3hrs

If anyone is serious you can call Sean at Streetpower-905-908-0048 or you can P.M. and I can make the arrangements.

Thanks Gabe for opening up this session for d fourum memebers.
more info as per Steves website
Tuning costs:

$350 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

On all tuning sessions there is a Non-refundable $200 deposit.

the above needs to be paid in US dollars

dyno time or useage is $300 for forum guys it is $250
and with the cost of flight and hotel will be split evenly between all car owners that register usually range form $120
i can cater for 3 more cars so you need to decide fast and drop off a deposit to confiirm four spot and time of tune

i am hardly ever on d forum it is best to call d shop and speak to Jay ,Carlos or myself

do you need Steve to tune your car with d rotary works trottlebody ?
and then compare it to your previous dyno
that will not be a very accurate comparision
i would also not install d rotary works tb and just make a dyno pull
so i suggets figure out what you want first before athaching a price

My car is already tuned. I am looking to replace my current turbo setup with a larger one. I am merely curious to know if this throttle body makes a difference ( as do many people on the forum ).

While I am curious it is hardly worth the fortune it will cost.

Price is steep and not keen at all on the venue either - to be diplomatic in every sense... Good luck
