Spotted: Black FC Turbo S2 in Waterloo

Hey,

I haven't posted here in years. I forgot my user name but dug it up and my pass worked. Havn't posted since the days I was planning on an RX7 but never got aorund to it.

Now I drive a 1998 Impreza with an heart transplant and full STi ver.6 look alike.

Anyway I still think RX7's are the best.
I saw this absolutely mint black Turbo II S2 FC in Waterloo.

Wonder if anyone here owns it.
I saw you driving around in the Fall on University Ave, and also saw you parked directly across from my buddies house on Sunview.

Cheers,
Karl

p.s. wonder is mr.zoom still hanging around (formerly gago)

edit: I wouldn't mind making some RX7 meets since my heart still lies with Rotary.
I go to school in waterloo, sometimes down back home in Niagara on the weekends.

I've seen that one around, is it the RHD one that was around campus?

no it wasn't RHD. The exterior is stock as is the interior ( I peeked inside )
It's almost like new condition in and out. I doubt it's out driving now - probably in storage still.

There's a white FD at one of the houses on erb just west of university ave.
I saw another fd painted a dark 'primer' grey at UW plaza. Saw another black FD at revolutions. And many FC's. btw, Do you live in UW Place?? Because me and my roomate always pass by an impreza decked as an sti when we head to class in the engineering buildings. And we keep making fun of the car because we never got the sti. If its you....sorry.

no I don't live at UWP, my car is in storage, you might see it when I take it out. But I don't drive to school.

Many older Suby owners do STi conversions. Although i don't have an STi engine, I have a 02 WRX with the STi Intercooler, up/down pipe, full exhaust, tuned ecu. BOV etc etc. about 280 - 300hp.

Don't worry, I don't pose to be fast - you'll recognize my car if you see a black GC8 with the bov going off, unless there is an identical one to mine, that just happens to have an EJ20 engine transplant as well.

I have definately not seen that many RX7's. But then again I'm never in waterloo in the summer. But will be this summer.

The black S5 TII is my buddy Ivan's.

He bought it in the summer of last year. Totally mint original.. under 50k's.

The White FD you have seen around is owned by Mike. It is a 94.. basically stock. He is going to sell it in the spring.

I have also seen a dark blue 88 convertable with s5 tails and some aftermarket rims.

Yea, it was totally original and mint. That car is gorgeous. Def one of a kind.
Good find for your buddy, caught my eye couple times.

FD for sale......god I want a FD so bad, won't happen anytime soon though.

I saw a lady drive a blue Convertible FC on the '86...sometime last year. Totally struck me when I saw the driver.

I've seen a Red FC convertible parked on King St. a lot, right around the corner from where I'm living right now. Also seen a black FB on the road, and a maroon one who's owner I met at the partsource on Weber.

donuts, Did you live on rez last year?

Is your buddy Mike a brown guy and does the white FD have rims and an exhaust?? Because thats what I saw. But when my roomate and I were tailing him to look at the car, it was idling Really rough. Or maybe Im deaf.....whichever

But it funny because I have seen FAR more FD's than FCs in the Woo. oh yeah, also saw a vr fd in the student parking lot. Is it me though or do these immigrant asians know how to roll?? I mean, right now in the parking lot on my rez there are about 5 bmws, 3 ben'z, a **** LOAD of rsx-s, couple of audi s4's, few g35's (one rebadged as a skyline), couple of sti's. Damn

Mike is a black older guy. Last I talked to him he daily drove the car to Toronto (I'm sure not in the winter though).

I'm Mike also (red FD) but I was not in the university parking lot.

How do you see so many FD's. There are 2 silver and 1 black one that I know of in the area.

Oh, and I'm asian but I worked for my car. A lot of asians and other international students that can afford to study overseas can afford a nice car (maybe not them but their parents). I've heard that cars in Hong Kong are twice the price there than they are here so it is cheap to them.

Yes I did. UWP. I drove a civic last year though.

Yes there are many international students that are loaded, thats how they afford to come here in the first place.
If you see or have seen the burnt orange 350z with the Rays rims. Thats my buddy, he's a good example of that. It parked on University ave last year, where he lived. He moved.

I wish I could see all these FDs your seeing darkfrost.
Hevnsnt, weather is good, bring yours out. haha

Wildog what res are you that you see all these in your parking lot.
I know there is a white 04/05 STi, thats the only STi I see around, asian guy. Almost positive he goes to UW.

I remember that orange 350z. And a few houses down there was a lime green new C class benz. Yeah, lots of cars here, its basically an extension of scarborough. I saw an asian kid driving a 2000+ nsx. Fully JGTC or widebody dressed carbon fiber. The mods MUST have cost over $100K. I love coming up here because you dont know what the next fob asian fanboy is driving. Saw a panda trueno, jdm 180sx, M3, Lime green riced out mkiv Supra. What frustrates me though is that alot of these people dont really treat their car so well.

Maybe its just me, but I only see fd's in the loo. red, black, grey, white.

How are you seeing all these. I guess I'm not around the university area much. The grey FD is not here anymore (moved back to Mississauga).
