South-eastern ontario shops
hey, i've been looking around since i bought my beast in '99 for performance shops in the kingston (or betwwen toronto and ottawa) area that really know their 7's. i know of rx7 heaven in ottawa, not sure if they still exist, and there used to be cp racing. i can't find hardly anything concerning wide-body kits/ wheels for my 82, or even just a good garage that can hook me up with some decent performance. I started removing the rat nest today, and want to throw a header on, and chuck the cats too. the ol girl needs a makeover, any info/ help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
Welcome to the forum, there really isnt much in Kingston, there is a jdm parts supplier but i doubt thats any help, auto add-ons can get aftermarket parts, there is a friend of mine whos had a few first gens thats pretty good with them, he may be willing to help with labor(at a cost of course) im about 50 kms north of Napanee, and i have a gsl-se that ive been parting out if you need anything, but pretty much all of the nice gsl-se specific stuff is gone, enjoy your stay!
thaks fellas... I guess mailorder will be my best bet for the small items, but it would be nice to walk in to a shop and see what they have, or can do for me. i'll keep your pals in mind.

Good to see someone else close with a first gen. I'm in Kingston and have brought stuff in from Racing Beat and Goodwin Racing. Know some good mechanics but no one with a lot of rotary experience
I love the mazda dealer, almost as bad as Canadian Tire "Hi I'm looking for a set of spark plugs for an 82' RX7". "Sure, what engine is it?" ha!
I'm attempting emissions removal, then builing headers, but I need a bodykit source for next year, probably doing kustom interior (tuck n roll baby!... maybe...), and will need to get some suspension stuff -rim's would be nice too, maybe spacers if need be. aside from learning emissions, to forget it at that, these beasts are simple enough, and it's time I put some uh- time into it... redundency.. mmmmMmm.
any luck finding parts cars etc?
