Calgary here too, 84 gsl, it's got some body work that needs attention but other than that she runs pretty well.

 

i was....but last year moved to Vancouver. I lived in St.Albert, Edmonton, and Calgary. Miss it sometimes.

Calgary.... Need body work and some overall tlc got no time cause of work to do much to it and don't want to risk messing **** up so I can get to work lol minor things lol

I live in Colonial Estates. More on the north east part, basically right on the golf course.

On the ring road, a few houses down. I'm not there all that much anymore since I moved out to claireview, just when I'm visiting the brother. Lived there most of the summers for the last few years while going to the UofA

 

North end of Calgary with a silver '93. Just put a fresh engine in this past summer. Can't wait for spring!

Does anyone know about autocross in Edmonton?

 

I'm just outside of edmonton, I have a 84 GSL-SE widebody with a TII engine T60-1 turbo, 320 rwhp low boost (10 Psi), Ford 8.8" rear end, and lots of other goodies. Car is waiting on a new fuel tank and lots of little odds and ends.

Just collecting dust for the time being due to other priorities. :S

 

I knew there was a track in Edm. Might end up checking it out during summer since Race City is gone in Calgary

Alberta Solo Association (http://www.albertasolo.com, http://www.albertasolo.com/) in Edmonton runs a full slate of ASN/FIA Canada sanctioned events each year - they've been using the old CFB Griesbach parade square, and the runways at CFB Namao when they can get them (Namao has long and wide military runways, makes for awesome autocross courses).

A little further afield, the Calgary Sports Car Club holds many of its events in Red Deer at the Westerner Exhibition Grounds. http://cscc.speedracer.ca/forums/index.php?action=forum

Neither club has its 2012 Autoslalom schedule posted yet, but usually it does come out around this time of year.

Honestly you'd get more hp out of the n/a if you boosted it, higher comp rotors.
And if you need help I'd be down when I get back off my camp jobs as an iron worker.
We should totally go for a cruze with Jake once me and him get our cars.

BTW everyone who posted here I'm starting up an alberta rotary meet, I'd like to have as many guys coming as possible so check It out and throw down some idea's if you've got something you'd like to do.
Need at least 10 guys or I'm going to turn it into a tuned car meet and not rotary specific.

 

I would be down for the cruze and the meet. For the car I plan on either doing a whole turbo swap, buying a turbo 2, or just turboing the n/a. But first gotta find some parts the fix up my car a lil bit.
