So I finally get out of the 80's with my wheels!

No more 15's and 16's, finally moved up to some 17's been told to for many years, but always said nah, well for 800 bucks I get this combo. 99+ Mustang GT wheels, and staggered tires, 225/45ZR17 up front, and 255/40ZR17 out back.

Here is what I had to works with...

Lots of inhaled paint chips(likely lead, but it won't hurt ya) later you get this...

And this is what I have now, just waiting a day or so for the paint to cure, then I will install them, and get a few picks of the pile with them on...

And maybe to complete the Ford RX7 conversion I will get one of these...

Haha I'm always a decade behind, takes a while for it to filter in to us way out here! I couldn't wait any longer, and put them on my car, even for the huge rusty pile it is, it looks pretty damn good if I do say so myself.

As promised pics of them on the car! Drove it around the block... It's going to be an awesome summer!

Pics before I drove it, so it looks lifted:

After a few laps of the hood:

Never knew the truck was that tall:

And where it sits now:

I haven't actually driven with them on yet. I'm waiting on some suspension parts and an alignment before I put them on the car.
