different price ranges, but cheaper and reliable I Would go NRG

you need hub adapter ( RX7 to what ever wheel you have ) plus a quick release kit, and of course an aftermarket wheel.

haha nice

if i cant find one i might just mod a normal one with 2 extra contacts. then make a small circuit board and program it to engage the starter and ac position, take the rpm signal and after 500rpm(when crank fueling ends) release it. but not re-engage until ac has been turned off, ether by taking the wheel off or hitting a hidden but conveniently placed reset switch.

sounds like it should work.

Problem with this steering wheel is you'd be constantly torquing your wheel left and right to get the bitch to start.

thats why i would put in a small momentary button under the dash, so you just touch it and it trys again. i just love being different/unique and this is just one of those things id love to have for that purpose. all i really need is a quick release that goes on by spining it like that and id do the rest. i never use my horn anyways, if im mad at you ill just blow your eardrums by poping beside you lol.

in the comments for that video someone said that its a d1 spec quick release and that they had one on there mr2. i cant find ony videos on one working though.

Any quick release can be spun like that I thought, I have the Bell quick release and if I remember (it's been a while sadly) you can snap it on in any position, but it rotates until it is centered then locks into position. It's getting it to crank until started that would be the trick, especially on a rotary. lol
