This track is very close to where i live, I always thought they only had an oval track set up. Never knew they had time attack or drift. Thank you for posting, this is definitely something worth considering
well the time attack/drift is scheduled on thrusday evenings. We could have that be an event on its own and go for a cruise/BBQ during a weekend? A weekend cruise would be easier to plan as most people are available
i have an FD too, but its at the plastic surgeon right now. a 10 wheeler made a nice dink in the rear
she gonna be nice again in a couple days. butt lift surgery lol i would be down for a bbq and a supah rutaryu rido!!!!
im sure bruno, steve, gab and mulato red fd freddy would come to. ( im mulato black fd freddy)
we're both the same mix, same name and same car lol

Off topic, but talk about a Sleepytown.... Just got back from there after a short vacation. My son wanted to see the Parliament Buildings, so we did all the touristy things we could do around that. Went to the Science Center (6/10), the Mint (surprisingly 8/10), the aerospace museum (7/10) and the Diefenbunker (9/10) really a cool thing to see if you haven't been there before. Some pretty neat stuff to do, but the big lacking were the restaurants. We were staying out at the Brookstreet in Kanata, but man we couldn't find any really neat places to eat. Everything was a chain place, Lonestar, Moxies, Milestones, etc.....
We want to go back and stay right downtown next time to hang around in the Byward Market area, so where should we eat and what other really cool things can we do?
Eric

As you said, Kanata is nice but burbs end of day. Like staying in Pickering and calling it Toronto.
If you are into mountain biking, there is a very nice mountain bike park maintained by the Ottawa mtb group a few kms from Brookstreet hotel. ( through lakes, mud , rocks etc ).
For social , food, drinks.
You can definitely try the by-ward market, Elgin street, wellington street and bank street near the glebe area and preston ( little italy ).
Great places their, if you like beer pub italia is nice.
I would stay somewhere like the Sheraton Ottawa ( cheap for the size of rooms etc
$ 119 to $199 depending on season) central enough that you can walk to almost everything.
If you wanted to go to wellington, hop on a bus. ( wellington is the hipster trendy area at this moment in Ottawa ) so lots of good food places from regular priced to expensive.
