should I fix it or part it?

I just bought a 1990 NA... what should I do with it?

the good:
Engine: excellent compression. low KM on mazda reman.
body: 4-5 year old red paintjob, WELL done paint... no crappy prep or masking issues. 170,000km.
interior: black, cloth, really nice shape.

the bad:
I think it's a base model, it has 5 bolt hubs but ugly steel wheels and therefore the small brakes.
The floor is rotten, not tooo badly but it would need a fair amount of work to fix properly. The rust appears to extend to the framerail on the driver's side.
The engine, while having excellent compression - appears to have a bad coolant seal.
it's been sitting for a while - so the brakes are siezed - but I think they'd come back to life.

I found myself in somewhat the same dilemna. I purchased an 89 N/A pretty much sight unseen and planning to just scoop the engine and part the rest. Upon seeing it it kind of tugged at my heart because it was in incredible condition. These cars are disappearing, becoming more rare by the year. I decided to save the car by investing in fixing what little was wrong with it. The work is just about done and I hope it goes to a good home. If it looks like that won't happen I'll keep it All comes down to the size of your heart, the size of your wallet, the size of your driveway, and the connections you have to get it back in shape.

I say you should fix it and then send it to me for just the cost of shipping
