shipping hood from us
I purchased a hood from the state...(Florida)...and now need a shipping company that will ship it.
I heard fedex and ups wont ship them..
Anyone knows??
any help is greatly appriciated..

Your best bet is to open up the yellow pages and start calling. Most parcel shipping companies will ship pretty much anything that can fit in a trailer, as long as your willing to pay the price. You will probably be charged extra for the size (they'll bump up the weight and charge you that). Call a couple places and ask. They'll need to know the dimensions of the box and weight to give you an accurate price. Although the person you bought it off of "should" be taking care of the shipping.

this is what ups/fedex has qoute me..
the transfer/shipping fee is $179 (fedex) and $249(ups)
the hood must be strap to a pallet (that will cost $250) otherwise it will get damage. Plus a tail gate fees (?) ...

You... have the hood shipped via DHL to a customer warehouse/dock in Niagara Falls NY, drive down there with a crapper on and swap it out before coming back across the border. I have used DHL and freight companies to move bumpers and other large parts without a problem this way. Greyhound ships also but perhaps not that size. Then it's as simple as picking up the item at your local bus station or one on the US side.
