any update? parts shipped yet?

 

I got a call from some company asking me who I wanted to broker it to. I assume it must be on the way.

 

woot awesome cant wait to get my fenders, i can start working on my tube frame front after!

 

Parts are in Woodstock (30 min away from me). I am going to attempt to self clear the package. This would save us some cash if I am successful.

I was contacted earlier this week saying the parts were in Woodstock, and they would be notifying me soon. I asked what soon mean and the reply was two days. Not that I am counting but that was three days ago.....

Man that is my biggest beef in life. If you say a time stick to it. If you don't think you can do a specific time then say so.

Anyway if I do not hear from them on Monday I will call them back.

I am Joe yes. I got a voice message last night saying it is still on the dock, and they have been trying to get in touch with you. I am not sure why though.


As I mentioned earlier in the thread I was contacted by them and I gave them my information including credit card number. They said I would have to pay taxes, and they would be ready to ship it out in a couple of days. I'm not sure what has been the delay from then to now or why they hadn't phoned me back.

Anyway it sounds like we can pick the package up. Does anyone have a truck that we can use? I do not know of anyone who has a pickup truck out this way.....

 

I sent an email to the address you mentioned above, and included you. I also called back the number they left on my voice message ( nobody picked up so I left them a message as well).

Again does anyone have a truck that can help pick up the package in Woodstock?

Mini update.

I called a few numbers and according to the folks at the border here is the latest info.

The package is in Woodstock on the dock. They have been trying to get in touch with Shine because they wanted him to pay for a truck that has a ramp that goes up and down. If he doesn't pay I guess we would.

The woodstock location is closed for the weekend and opens up Monday. I will call them again Monday morning and if all goes well 'Ryuji' and I will pick it up Monday afternoon.

I will keep you updated as I learn more.

 

Update

I spoke with Ann this morning and they were successful in reaching Shine. The parts will be shipped to my address on Wednesday.


Shipping costs are $316/7 people = $45

$250 from Shine
$66 in taxes for self clearing

If all goes well you guys can start to swing by the Thursday to pick up your parts

Please remember to bring $45 to cover the cost of shipping and taxes!

The information provided to me from customs doesn't list what is inside the package. Ken did have your name above so I am sure it is there.

The box is here, and in my garage. I haven't gone through it yet but I popped the top and it looked to be in good shape.

Funny but odd story. I am sitting at home waiting for the driver to show. At noon I call to ask if he is close, and they said he is coming and WILL be there. But he doesn't know where I live. Ummm how was he coming if he doesn't know where he is going...........

Anyway I give her my info again, and I sit and wait.

Around 2pm my doorbell rings, and a man WALKS IN MY HOUSE. He says "anyone home, and expecting a package?" WTF is this crazy ***** doing?

End of story. Come and get the stuff now
