I'm still waiting on checking out my Cart or better yet to call in my credit card. Want to know if I am on the first group or second group buy. If there is a second group I gather that it will be sent to someone else shipping address because why would doublej want these sent to his garage? I did this group buy years ago but it was huge. We had hoods and bumpers etc..... Pallet took half my garage. LOL.

This list has got a bit confusing. Here is my attempt at being fair to those who expressed interest. Unfortunately not all the items will fit so there will need to be another group buy after this.

Those listed below contact Shine, and make arrangements for your order. I will pay for shipping on my end, and you can pay me back when you pick up your parts. Shipping will be 250/number of people. And if I get hit with duty you will need to pay your share as well. The last group buy did not have any duty so with any luck we shouldn't either.

Ok. I just want to be clear. Since there is a bumper in this package, this has to go freight, which is a fixed price of $250 plus local fees (customs + brokerage if not self-clearing). At this point, the box size doesn't matter. It is best to get as many orders in the box as possible. Everyone interested should definitely get on the first group buy. The more participants/items, the cheaper it is for everyone else.

Okay I just spoke with Ken on the phone. We had a couple options.

1) kick out the large parts that were ordered and do a group buy with small pieces
2) use a larger box, and accommodate everyone

Option 1 will have a smaller total cost because of local fees. The smaller box also means less people are participating and thus you do not have many people to split the costs. Example $250 ÷ 5 = $50/person

Option 2 will have a larger cost but might work out to be cheaper depending on how many people we get. Example $400 ÷ 8 = $50/person.

Since we have a couple of large pieces, and a fair bit of interest it sounds like option 2 is best for all of us.

I have placed my order with Ken, and paid for the shipping fee. If you are interested please do the same.

Just contact Ken via phone / e-mail and tell him that you're going to be participating in the Toronto group shipping. Order your parts and only pay for that. Double_J has already paid shipping and when the box arrives he will divide the shipping and other costs amongst the buyers in the group - so the more people we get the more cheaper.

One thing I forgot to mention was WE could clear customs ourselves. Instead of a broker filling out the paper work we could do it, and save the "local fees". This would lower the price significantly. I have never done that but if one of you guys feels comfortable doing it will certainly help us all. Ken guessed it would be a savings of $150. Technically the self clearing option would be cheapest because we would split 250 between all of us (and now there are more people interested.
