Hi everyone, I just confirmed with BEMC that we can do our Lunch Time lapping like we have the past 2 years on that race day. Everything will be the same as before, one or two run groups depending onthe number of cars with about 20 minutes of track time each. Its still going to be $20.00 per car, you can have as many passengers and your car will hold legally lol. We are limited to 50 cars maximum, and its is going to be 1st come 1st serve as it was last year! I know I havent been very active this yearthe new job has lots of challenges, and at this very moment my Scion Theatre is being installed (**** everywhere in the showroom!). I hope we can make this the best one yet and raise the most money for Sick Kids!

 

It's the same day as the Fall Meeting, damn......

 

Yea, but this will be over by like 2:00, then head to the meet from there. Count me in! I may have my new FC by then...... Or I could just take the Rx-4.

For $20 (which goes to charity) you get to hang out in the paddock, watch the races, and take your car out on the track. How can you go wrong?

I went last year, and I had a freaking blast. It was by FAR the best $20 I have ever spent. I didn't know what I was getting in to ( and that was my fault ) but it was seriously thrilling!

 

I'm going to try to make it down there too ... I really need to get on mosport. How on earth do I make it down to Road Atlanta before driving the closer tracks.

 

We'll be at that race with our racecar!

WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?!?! I have the RB muffler ready to install on the Rx-4. That should bring the Db level down to a some what tolerable level....

I will be running that weekend also in either the FC or the Cougar. Right now it looks like the FC will be seeing how fast the old beast will go. I was going to run it in the 3 Hour, but I am having some issues digging up a co-driver. So I am going to run it in the GT classes.

HUGE MISTAKE ON MY PART! I got my signals crossed with BEMC, the date we have the track is Sept 18th not the 19th, please let me know if those who wish to attend are still good with that day!!!!

 

hmm ill still try to make it out, do you by any chance race with Terri (Owner of lubrico)? I'm welding a broken block for his old corvette to make it out on that same weekend. Not sure what class he is in, what do you run in ?

Bump for an answer on this question. If we do things at the track, where will the booth be setup at?

Lastly what time exactly will this be at?

 

Last year I think you had to be there by 10am to register for the lunch time track fun. There is a main registry booth before you get to the gate that you stop at. Sign a few papers, hand over the cash and in you go.

 

where is mosport how far from toronto?

 

It's about 1.5 hours driving to the east from Markham or Scarborough....
