the shifter itself is one piece, if you removed all the boots and etc off of it (everything rubber) you can take the braket off but he actually shift lever is only one part, as far as I can tell.

you can always cut/weld it.

I'm Toyin with the Idea of having the Shifter Redone...Into a ShortThrow. The Guy workin on it was having trouble, since it is "too big' To put into the Vise.(no idea what he is Attempting!..haha)..But, I've known him for awhile and Trust he will redo it to my Liking. If Things are Good,This could be 'an item'.

The shifter shaft is actually two pieces. They are secured together by a rubber isolater. The only way to seperate them is to burn out the rubber...

Thanks Aaron..I actually got around to Taking a Second look at that Shifter, and what you Said is what I was assuming..The Shifter is getting Lengthened and Redone(between the "*****")And It will be incorporated with some Aftermarket pieces to Make it Shortthrow..I will Post Results when I get the thing installed.According to My "machinist" ,that will be sometime in the next week or two..Thanks guys for all the help..Misterstyx69
