RXTUNER : renewal

Well, I got the renewal letter this week.
It allows me to keep my current price of 22$/year or a new 2 year package for 39$.

BUT, they've now added an 18$ fee for shipping "outside the US" and there's no mention that it's any different for Canada.

So, I guess the deal we got last year is gone. Damn, 18$ for shipping. Take the 2 year deal and it comes out at 18$/yr for the mag, so the shipping actually doubles the price!

I'm kind of hesitant, given that I haven't got the march OR the april issue yet. And I'm still missing one or two issues from last year.

The price is still fair, but if I'm not going to receive the mag, I'm not sure I want to go for it.
What are you guys going to do?

I don't even have a renewal letter. I haven't received an issue in a while also. I would still renew if they send me a renewal form.

Ya i haven't gotten a renewal letter either. Will this renew automatically or do they cancel it unless you send them notice saying you want to renew again?

You have to renew. Otherwise the subscription ends and that's the end of it.

Still dunno wha I'm gonna do

I will be renewing. BUt yes the shipping cost as much as the subscription.

It works out to about $4.00 a mag. A little bit of savings as opposed to buying of the shelf.

But off of the shelf you're guaranteed to get it... If I subscribed to a magazine and had such issues, I wouldn't renew, I'd just go buy...

For the record, RXTuner has told me that all the shipping problem should be in the past. They've contracted out another company to take care of it or something. The RXTuner guys can describe it better then I can, but I did get the last issue in the mail, so obviously something is working.

But I have not received a renewal notice...
