QC Rx7 Motors? Need Help!

This is my first post and I'm new to the RX7's. I live in Montreal and I bought one from Fahiti Auto this year and blew my motor not long after. I do not recommend buying from this dealer but now I'm stuck without a motor.

I first went to JDM skyline and they are charging 1800 for a motor. I then fell upon Royal Japanese and they offered 3000 installed. Is this over priced or a good deal. I want to know if these places are reliable if not is there one around montreal anyone can suggest for FD engines or mechanics. Any help is appreciated.

Maybe find a rotary shop that will rebuild your motor instead of finding a used motor. Those used motors you never know how they been treated or what type of mileage they have. At least by rebuilding it, you know its fresh.

$3000 installed for an FD engine is pretty cheap.

I know that Dave at Mazdees - arguably, the most reputable rotary shop in Ontario - charges $6000+ for complete removal, rebuild and re-installation.

Yah, its been there for 2 weeks but its nothing engine related. I toasted my front brakes at the track so they are grinding metal to metal. I'm still waiting for JRP to get my Stoptech big brakes in so hopefully my pads won't wear out so much. They told me it would be here Tuesday/Wednesday of this week but now they say Tuesday next week.... Also, waiting to get some upgrades (oil coolers, sway bars, flywheel, and some other things) but they want to do everything at once so I'm still waiting on those damn brakes which I need to drive around anyway >_>

I'm getting the engine installed tomoro but im still having trouble finding anyone that will work on FD's in montreal. Im goin with royal japanese motors they garantie me no exhaust smoke and no engine problems for 60 days. Which sounds resonable because first engine went from drifting abuse.
