RX-8 Special Edition
While at the autoshow, I thought about this colour for my first gen, but it comes off as a little too brown. Then I thought about Nordic Green, but I love my Chevy colour.
Anywho, enjoy the article.

It's also known as the Shinka Edition, and they call the paint "Black Cherry".
There is one that parks at my building at work, and the effect is quite neat. From far away it is quite black, but up close it's a "rootbeer" brown. In the sun, it comes across as purple. I actually like it.

I like the exterior color. Hate the interior color, but like the fake chrome bits
Looks very black when sitting under flourescent lights. They have one a Downtown Mazda, I was almost tempted to ask him to let me take it out for a spin, to see if there is much difference in the suspension. : shrug :

This was one of those cars that I thought looked horrible on paper.
The package pulled it self together nicely in person. I actually really like the beige interior with that paint. The whole presentation is very rich and warm. I didn't think the Rx-8 would be able to go in that direction but the sum of it's parts was very impressive.
Lip spoiler was a nice change from the basket handle that everyone has.
And value wise, especially with the recent 300 price hike on the GT, this car represented very good value for the money.
