RX-7 on PINKS Apr. 5th
Saw the commercial/preview last night.

'89 RX-7 vs. some tarted up Civic (I think it was pink). Lots of pride on the line here.

Wednesday April 5th (9:30?)

The race IS for pinkslips. The Speedmachine FC won the races and now they own the pink Civic as well.

Yellow for the papers that actually sign over the car, green for the ownership papers you have in your wallet.

That first race was bogus.... you could hear the 7 was shifting off the line at no more than 5000... SANDBAGGING the entire length... of course it puts them in a good negotiating position... race two up next...

Ha Ha... in the second race you could hear he added 3000-4000 revs to his shift point... The 7 is just out negotiating them and playing the game better... #3 up next

The debate is over now. Even with slicks, full race motor, and a fake ricer bottle of NOS. Its still a civic.


Buddy took out his RX-7 for a nice sunday drive to the strip and beat the ol' civic. 10PSI? Maybe so. But not on that last race.


The part I liked best was it was as hard to start as my car when its hot.

nice to see an RX-7, but that wasn't all that exciting. that Civic was kind of stupid too...i think they just built it for ***** and giggles...not even DOHC.
that's one fast FC though. but if it's just going in a straight line, i would much rather like to see a 20b p-port pulling some wheelies
