Hi guys,

I spoke to Sal Khan late today, and he told me to advise the club members that this Saturday is the day to show up to buy RX-7 parts at 6380 (?) Bank Street, Ottawa. Some of the cars have been disposed of, and some of the better ones will be sold as complete cars. I know nothing else beyond what I've told you here. If you're not doing anything this Saturday, you may wish to drop in to see if there is anything that is worth buying. I have no idea what he is going to charge for parts or the cars. Good luck!

Thanks Walter,For conveying the info.The rest I am pretty sure is Going to Marcel's Towing in Ottawa..I got the info by answering an Ad on UsedOTTAWA.com.I sort of Stumbled on it.the Number for Marcel's is 613-223-1499..I think I may Pop over(to RX"heaven")..just for the Hell of it.

 

Any particular time frame? Anyone know? I'm in Ottawa this weekend.

 

I might pass by saturday noon to check it out , whats the exact location ? .

 

About 4 km south of Mitch Owens Road on the West side. I'm sure the address is 6380 Bank Street. White building with a sign "warehouse for rent".

The place WAS NUTS!..as soon as you would LOOK at stuff ,there was a BOB-Cat behind you..Picking up Engines and ****,and throwing them Into a Big Dumpster..This was the Time where you Say to Youself..****!..If I hadn't have bought That Part Last week I could have got "all this"..I saw No Front Lips MIKE..(that were any good)..there were alot Of cars that Were "hands OFF"(SOLD)..about twenty cars you could have picked over though...IF I would have had More cash ..WAH!..I only saw TWO familiar faces..about Twenty people in all In and out.One guy drove away with a Car load of Parts,Then came Back!..Anyhow,The Guy that Was In Charge there,was Going Back to Niagara Falls.,So I think this Was a One Day event..too bad.There was Stuff there at Incredible prices.

 

It was amazing... we could have spent days there sorting through junk to find amazing, old school parts/oddities hidding in random boxes. The cars in the yard out back were also packed with all kinds of valuable stuff.

My fav are a front grill/tailights and badges from an RX-3. I couldnt get over how many interior parts were packed in that one room. Some people on here would be kicking themselves for not being there if they saw it.

I found it strangely theraputic too, in essence we were pilaging the place that caused many of us a lot of hardship. Good thing we didnt fire bomb it after all!!

yah its too bad we didn't have a pickup.. and a place too put more stuff, there was alot **** i wouldv'e like to get... like all those s5 n/a intakes, ignition coils, trannies, rims, maf...

oh and the manual window doors....

 

You need manual window Parts? I have everything for them!

What time did it all go to? I was heading south on Bank at about 4:30 and thought it would be pretty much over with so I just headed to my hotel.

Partied far too hard... From what people told me I passed out in the Guest Business Center of my hotel at 3am half naked. Security took me up to my room while they gathered up my clothing. Then this morning there was a bag of my clothes hanging on my door with a note... Honest Lawyer had some fine ladies...

 

we left around 4ish i think, they had thrown most of the stuff out by then...

what colour are the door panels on for the manual windows?

/\ /\.I don't know what to tell you About Marcel's...Maybe It's a "little Early"..The guy(for Marcel's) said he was going to be getting the Parts? cars? from there(RX7Heaven).He never said Exactly when..In My Opinion "I Think" what is going on is the Landlord Had the Sale for the Warehouse stuff and Whatever he could get on Saturday(past)..I am "assuming' now,the Cars that were in the "back 40" are to be Sold to Marcel.I'll Try to get more Info..I'll get to the Bottom of it!

 

Damn I was in Calgary and missed out on this... I could have really used a pair of black cloth seats... damn!

 

I was there Wednesday evening, and there were only a handful of cars left in the yard. The maintenance guy who lives next door told me the building has been cleaned out.

It was a fun day to be sure. Of course, rooting through stuff is what I like to do. Thanks Dave, for giving me info on some of the parts. That Bobcat kept us moving through the parts pretty quick, didn't it?
