..Uh..not Neccessarily..especially if there is someone's Car Still there.I'm sure the guys that have their vehicles there wouldn't Classify them as "Crap"!!But ,on another note,at least the cars won't be any worse off.The Guy could have actually worked on them!..then they would get put into a whole new Category. Hell I was thinking of going down there a few days ago to look and see if I could grab some of the parts I need, but all the grief other people seem to be having/had with this place puts it totaly out of the question.

I called PartSource today about new calipers for my car. Gonna have to call back and order them for sure tomorrow. The seal around the piston in one of the front calipers came came right off, as did one of the seals on the back calipers.

So now my question to rx_prez and/or RXciting is how do I get my 10% discount at PartSource? Do I just have to say I'm a member?

went by there last night. All the junkers are gone. There are about 10 cars left in the front yard, probably all client cars (including mine). I'll be picking it up this week, hopefully it's still intact.

 

I was also out there and noticed a For Sale sign. I am pretty sure it is just for the property though. There were a lot of notes stuck inside the door. Maybe the booze finally did him in.

 

The For Sale signs are for the land and buildings, which Doug only rented. He has been locked out for non-payment of rent. He'll probably just open up someplace else.

 

RX7 in Ottawa is out of business at least for the time being. The phones haven't worked for a while now. The bailiff seized the property as of July 1. I went yesterday- August 12 - and some guys were doing inventory. You need to call Jim who owns the property 647-299-1656. Good luck!

 

I drove by the parts lot futher down Hwy 31 (past Greely) last night, and all the parts cars have been removed.

Anybody know what junkyard picked them up? Then at least we know what yard to go to for parts...

 

everything's just been moved to the back so that nobody carts anything off without the bailiff's OK. You won't be able to get any parts from there anytime soon. Everything has to go through the courts and we all know how long that can take.

 

I just met a guy with an -SE. He's been dealing with them to try and purchase the parts. I big oufit in Minneapolis (called RX7 Heaven) is bidding on them, and he would like to get together with some people and keep the parts here in Canada.

I've suggested he join the club, and hopefully he will make a posting on this subject.
