Hello to all. I put my car on the road yeserday...since the nice weather is here.
Anyways last summer everytime I started my car, it would rev up to 3000 rpm's then eventually it goes down. Now she only rev up to 2000 rpm's...
Maybe my TPS needs to be adjusted ??
I verified the TPS when the car was hot, with my tester, and it seemed ok. When I plugged it in, only one light was one not two ??
Any help is appreciated.
Pete

It is a North American spec car right? Thats the Automatic Warmup System (AWS). When you start the vehicle in Neutral the AWS revs it up to 3000 rpm and slowly drops off as the engine warms up. To avoid this you can simply start it in 1st gear.
Though i'm not entirely sure if the ECU takes ambient air temperature into effect, I think it just takes engine temp and goes by that.
