Well...let the Budget Sleeper Project begin... JDM S5 TII motor just arrived today . I am pumped. If you guys need some stuff for your S4 N/A's, I may have some.

Plans for Medusa:

Front mount stock IC
Upgrade Fuel Pump
Clean out the Cats
Add Downpipe
Add intake
Port wastegate

Leave almost everything else bone stock. FYI it's a stock white 86 GX with phone dials in really nice shape. No one is going to see this coming .

yea but incase you never noticed, its not really a sask car. its a rhd so its imported and since you cant import newer than 15 years and its a '90 the maximum time its been here is 2 years

Just an update for all you fellow Reginians that my 7 has the JDM engine in and the harness rewired. It's just a matter of hooking things back up and mounting the frontmount ...and hopefully it starts!

Anyone else have any updates of what is going on with their 7's?

 

Well i let Red_Aura, us my car at the first race of the season and he kinda blew up the brakes, so i had to drive home from K and M with one drum seized on and no other brakes but that. So in my car has been off the road for about 2 weeks now, and in my spare time i have been installing discs into the rear! it should be fun when its done, but i can't get my god damn flaring down. It keeps being stupid and i dont know what i am doing wrong. I was gonna try it with the flares i ahve done, but i dont think they will hold up, plus when i orded pads, i got the wrong ones!

 

Just a quick update on my little projects here guys:

I'm selling my 82 FB due to major strucutral integrity issues. The car almost went right through being lifte don the ground by a mechanics hoist thing. Scary stuff. So, I', hoping to sell it as a parts car or part it out completely and sell the rest for scrap. I havent decided yet.

By the looks of it, i'm importing a 83 FB GS from down in the state sup here ror a rebuild. The body is in amazing shape, but the engine is shot. That doesnt bother me too much, because I plan on ordering a JDM 13B T this fall and working on it over the winter in our heated garage here. Sounds like a plan to me

All pie in the sky as they say right now though. We'll havet o see how it goes. I dont have enough money without selling this F, so it begins there.

my 86 is still waiting for a motor.....cant find one worth a damn and my 85 is still sitting totaled and untouched. going for my licence agian on may 31st if i get it look out for the 85 rippin around on june 6th lol

 

I still can't to get my '87 TII to stay running

I have no clue whats up with it. It's like the fuel stops being sent to the engine and then the car dies. Maybe a broken wire grounding on the frame? I'm stumped

Update: I started the Seven this week without too much trouble and it is running like a champ. I could hardly believe it myself...I didn't think it would be so easy. I am waiting on an auto driveshaft from a guy in Cupar and putting a few things back together and it should be good to go.

 

yeah ill find out how much they are on monday for you. Well the 20b projet hasnt really started yet, I have everything decided on what im getting now Ill I need to do is wait for my friend to get his money from SGI. Hopefully not too much longer because I really want to get it started. :p

 

just an update lol i got my license today and now i have a job at Canadian tire...i can order parts and i found a clutch for an 82 -92 rx7 its a 6 puck racing clutch i get a discount come to the north end and look for me in about a week..names mike i can get prices on parts if you guys need em

spark plugs are 13.80 each plus tax i think, so let me know and it anyone wants a rebuild kit i can get them for 1054 rigth now.

 

Hey guys, just letting you know if you havent seen it allready: I'm parting out my 82 FB. The chasis is far too rusted for this one to be a restore project.

Yea its still alive, im in the process of getting a 92 FD shipped to regina just picking out the right one. so should have another RX in the city close to august. ANother question, where ahs everyone from Regina imported there RX's from and what company did you guys go through. trying to research all my options before i get any concrete ideas.
