Might help just to send a couple follow-up emails. I had to email Mazdatrix three times over 2 weeks before they responded to a simple question.
Re-amemiya may just direct you to a distributor like rhdjapan anyways since it's such a long shipping distance.
I like that you're going with original RE parts though!

i have been trying a lot of websites to get my hands on sum re goodies but they are too expensive.. however if u go straight to re website.. the prices are fairly low.. and i am pretty sure the shipping will be not as crazy as rhd ....

I personally also buying some RE-A parts for the past few years, and I contact Inukai most of the time. I think RHD Japan price is fair. When RHD Japan is on sale for RE-A parts, then its cheaper than RE-A website price, but if its not on sale, then its probably the same price.
Will buy some RE-A parts over the winter, or beginning of next Spring, will pm you for group buy, anees

Have you tried contacting the guys over at Greddy they're a dealer here in the states not sure about Canada. I think they said that they don't charge to ship the product from japan to their warehouse, just from their warehouse to you.

my bad should have included the link, so you can order JDM Greddy parts, Top Secret, and RE-Amemiya from them.

There is another way to go about it. see if you can find it in yahoo auctions in japan.
there is a guy who sells internationally for re-am, panspeed, feed, etc. on there for rx8 stuff, im sure he'd sell to you.
or, you can find a japanese friend to write them. surprisingly, if you have 1 japanese friend, you will have a 100 in no time. its like making your first million. Try drinking at an izakya, im sure youll find a few, lol
and, re-amemiya has an english rx8 site, which means, one person there kinda sorta knows english. but the grammer is typically japanese, so if you email them, keep it simple.
Sadly, none of my friends live close to chiba, or id just get them to bring it back for you. Kyoto is a 7 hour drive, with a radar detector on, and the needle pegged im told. in a volvo no less, hahaahaha.
