A few weeks ago I asked what I should do with my rust-free, but non-running, ’84 GSL. My choices were:
a) Fix it.
b) Sell it.
c) Store it.
d) Junk it.
My thanks to everyone who replied...your responses gave me something to think about. Anyways, I’ve decided to sell it...I’ve put an ad in the Canadian classifieds. That’s “Plan A”...if I can’t sell it, “Plan B” is to store it for a few years.
BTW, here’s the “before” picture (car still up on blocks) and the “after” pictures (wheels back on, and car washed up). Amazing how much better it looks with wheels on!!

Here's the salient info:
• GSL model, 12A engine, power windows, 5-speed manual transmission, leather seats, and sun roof. Black exterior, with a burgundy interior. No air conditioning.
• Mileage is 205,750 km.
• Car owned since 1986. Stored every winter by me.
• First owner had car rustproofed. I had the car oil sprayed most years before winter storage.
• No rust on the bodywork, including wheel well edges and inside floor pans.
• No rust on fuel tank. Car stored with full tank of gas to prevent interior corrosion.
• Car interior in excellent condition, no cracks in the dashboard or door panels.
• Original stereo system, still works.
• Original 13” alloy wheels in excellent condition.
• Paint in good condition. Two or three small shallow cosmetic dents, but no large dents or body damage. The car has never been in an accident.
• Power windows, headlight motors, power mirrors, and windshield wipers all function.
• Front nose bra and NOAH cover included. The cover has minor tears in it, but otherwise in good shape.
The reason the car is a non-runner is that the front engine housing gasket started oozing coolant, and I stopped driving the car before the engine was damaged. (I did pour a little oil into the rotor chambers to prevent corrosion.) It’s been sitting on my driveway on blocks for the last two years, with a cover over it.

I'm asking $2200, but I'm certainly willing to consider an offer.
