Interesting idea for a show. Besides you and 01Racing, I don't think anyone here has much in the way of talent. Since you "know too much," can you give us an idea of which series the victor would get a seat in? (I'm guessing formula BMW or something like that)

in the same way that "no one here has a fast car" or "no one here comes out to any of the rx7 meets" or "no one knows how to decarbonize a wankle"

very few people here have fast cars.

No rotaries in ontario that I can think of, actually, if you go by the 10 second rule.

And I bet even fewer have track talent But who cares... I'd enter anyways.

I'd say 12 second street cars are plenty fast. A 10 second street car is more than 'fast'...

I guess it's all relative. I remember from my "solo 2 days" when a driver of a bone stock dodge colt would be one of the "fastest" in a field of 100 cars in any given solo 2 day. are we talking straight line speed, oval speed, solo 1 / lapping speed, off road speed etc. ? they are all different forms of automotive racing that has produced very different types of drivers, talents and abilities. someone who has grown up racing go-carts has a different understanding of speed to someone who has done 1/4 mile runs for years.

speed is one thing, reading the road, knowing when to be fast and slow is another. you can go much faster, by going slower through certain sections of a track. I don't think Eric would say his car is particularly "fast".... but he drives it very well, in a FAST manner

there is no "rule" that determines if a car is "fast", that is just bullshit. and people shouldn't make judgement about other people's "talent", or lack of, even if there is some truth to it...

I have potential lol. My brain is like a sponge, and my car had constantly changin alignment when I had the money for autox lol.
