Question about selling RX-7

Hey everyone I would like to know about how easy it is to sell a 3rd gen RX-7 in good shape and how much would it roughly go for? I have one imported from Japan so its right hand drive but I cant keep it and would like to know how much I should sell it for. its 100% stock and has minor ware inside and out but all round in good shape. 100% no rust never winter driven. So anyone let me know your opinion about how often a car like this sells in Ontario Canada and how much they go for. Thanks allot

It'll sell within a week if you post anything under 19k. avg is around 22-25. Higher is around 28-30.

jspec cars seem to be worth about half of north american ones, you'll probably be able to sell it for between $10k and $12k depending on history and condition.

There are some on import concern and jspec imports for $10k landed.

How many km's are on the car and what was the auction grade? I have been doing a tonne of research on importing cars from japan since I will be getting myself one in the near future so I might be able to give you a decent idea on how much it would be worth.

Also check out www.jdmconnection.ca , www.redlineimports.ca and www.importconecern.ca. Compare your car to the prices of these and see what number you come up with.

What color, how many kms, condition, etc will effect vehicle value. If its very low kms (30,000 or so) you can probably get 15 for it but JDM cars are valued less than their USDM counterparts.

PM me the specific details if you don't mind, when will it arrive?

If you are getting your average car from Japan, say 80k-100k km, auction grade of 3.5 ish, with a interior grade of B you will probubly be in that $10-$12k area.

oh ok ya i figured that It would be worth alot less than a strate amarican car. the car has 93km on it its auction grade of 3.5 and the interior is a B. I only payed 8300$ to have the car brough over and then shipping to me in Ontario.

If someone is looking for a project car check into this one.

Its from www.hashinon.com.

They are asking 300,000 JPY (just under 3 grand CAD) + shipping and importing fees in canada. So it could be yours for around 4800 +/-. The only thing is that it needs a new engine.

^ a bit of a generalization don't you think.

There's the good and the bad. Just like there's good and bad over here.

How do you figure? Just because you have a LHD FD that makes all RHD FD's junk? Concidering you can get a RHD FD for almost half the cost of a LHD I'll take my chances with some people thinking that they are junk.

i am against the fact that they wil increase the numbers of fds in canada. therefore taking away some of the prestige of owning one. any lhd fd owner does not want this to happen. although they will not drive down the price of an lhd car they will have less apeal on the street. if u want something half the price. move to Japan or buy a corrolla. and leave the real rx7 community be

^ So the "real RX-7 community" is comprised of people who are willing to pay $25,000 for a decent used 10+ year old car, and not the people wanting to buy the car because it's such a bad *** driving machine?

Maybe you should think that over again...
