LOL,
just picked up the Gran Turismo 5 for the PS3, nice to see there is still the Rx7 still available in the game after 6 yrs of no production.
i havent played a Gt game since the 2nd version for the original PlayStation, so i thought i would check it out again and relive some of my gaming youth. So far its a pretty good time but i do have a couple beefs with it. Firstly it doesnt appear that u can mod the cars at all, and secondly i think i gotta buy some gay fwd suzukis with 80hp to continue on in the game. The Spirit R is a blast to race with though!
Anybody checked this game out?
Sorry if this is a Gay thread. just tryin to spruce up the ol' cdn section of the forum a bit

yeah, you won't be able to mod much if anything because it's the "prologue". It's not the full game, almost like a very large demo. GT4 had 650 cars, all the classic tracks, with most of the famous world tracks (i.e. Nurburgring, Laguna Seca etc.) while this game has like 60 cars, a few tracks and not much to mod. It is pretty sick though as it is, looking forward to the full game whenever that comes out.

Nah, it's still fun. I wish the FD was a little quicker, though, so it's definitely realistic in that sense.
..and from what I've heard, yes, your Prologue info will transfer over once you get the real game.

so the North American version of Prologue has an FD in it eh? i've only played the Japanese version at a friends place.. which sadly didn't feature an FD or any 7 for that matter.
i will be buying a ps3 when the full version of the game comes out.. not just to play gt5 but also to serve as my first blu-ray player
