Take pics of the package. Advise the shipper of the problem. Check to see if insurance coverage was purchased for the shipment. Check with the folks at the post office counter as well. They have a customer complaint department, and handled a recent problem I had promptly.

i called the customer care....seems like all the want me to do is to contact the seller. But i dont think a usps (or any shipping company) will accept an open and empty parcel to be ship. If i receive an empty sealed parcel, then i know i got scammed by the seller....but in this case i got ripped off by the shipping company.

What i cant understand is that how that mail man drop an opened and emptied parcel into my mailbox??!! (wtf is he/she thingking??)

contact the Seller..with the Shipping # of the Package,Canada Post Insures a Regular Parcel up to 100 Dollars. No special Insurance. Now if the Seller had the Parcel insured for More than that,he would have had to Purchase the insurance at the Post office.I would Also get a Hold of the Mail man..if he says he dropped a "weighted parcel" (meaning something was in it) at your door, you may have a Neighbourhood thief!..

^^ It was not drop at my door...
it was at my locked mail box. Only i have the key to opened it and ofcourse the mail man had a key to drop mails...etc etc..

the mail box at my door is only for junk mails....

Then you will have to Contact the seller,Or I am sure Canada Post can,if you have the INFO(tracking #)..the only thing is this may Backfire and they issue a Cheque to the Seller(guy who sent the package as he Paid for the Delivery service) instead of the recipient of the package..if the seller Is a Straight up Guy then he will co-operate..if not.I hate to say the rest of the sentence...
