the power of the Loonie!
Hey!..I am seeing that The CDN Dollar is Now Above the USD.Just thought I would Point that out if some of us Canucks are Selling Parts to our American Buddies.Instead of asking to be Paid in USD(when the USD was higher),you should now be asking to be paid in CDN Dollars, due to the Higher Value(about 4 cents UP).I know it isn't a Mittfull of Cash,(Yes all Canadians Should have a Pair of Mitts, along with a Nice Fuzzy Toque!) ,but Hell,it sure Turns the Tables on When the USD was the Stronger of the Two..So there ya go,Some more Useless Info From your "Uncle STYX"!..hah!
Makes the Power Pulse muffler slightly more affordable too!

Has anyone else gotten these emails warning about south border shopping?
I read one this morning from OMVIC about buying vehicles south of the border and all the wonderous, fluffy, happy thing's you'll miss out on by not buying car's in your home province.
Scrambling to justify inflated pricing much?

Me and the wife were looking at buying a new car in the spring. The particular car we are looking at is literally $20,000 less if you buy from the states.
However, the canadian version has much better/more option selection. Such as the larger engine with AWD as opposed to the states which limits AWD to the smaller engine.
But the $20,000 in savings? Hell, I can buy a new car AND an FD while Im at it and still save a couple bux.

I pitched the Idea of two FD's, but shes too short to drive one. She sat in it and it didnt look too good.
We're still tossing around ideas of what to buy, were still really not sure. An FD is on the shopping list though. But probably next fall if anything. I have a couple other rotary and non-rotary things on the go.
Its finally nice to start taking steps to buy the childhood car of your dreams. Especially at $1.05.
