Plugs, Wires, etc in Calgary
Any recommendations on where to get the usual tune up parts for an 1981 in Calgary. Any brand recommendations too. Its bone stock. I need plugs, wires, oil filter, air filter. Thanks.

NAPA & Cdn Tire
Get all my stuff from NAPA and Cdn Tire.
Only exception is plug wires and air filter. Both the factory Mazda and the standard wires from NAPA or Crappy tire seem really cheap (quality wize). Got 8 mm silicone ordered in from Keystone via Crappy Tire. The air filter for a GSL-SE is around $67, and an airbox K&N was $80 and good for life, so I got one of those.
Mine is bone stock too.

Go to an automotive jobber store & take a look at Champion truck wires. They have all of the features of most performance type wire sets & are way less expensive. They're black & have a ceramic boot & are made to resist very high temperatures. They should have a fairly long lifespan too. Highly recommended.
RX7 Specialties carries (among other things) all the wires, plugs, dist. cap/rotor items that you need for decent prices. Plugs and wires are NGK (can't go wrong with these).
As for oil filters, stay away from Fram or Motomaster, but the Valvoline and Quaker State filters (also sold by Canadian Tire) are decent filters and only a couple of bucks more than Fram.
