My trunk on my white S5 vert is severely peeling and starting to surface rust.

I called around and was told it was about 500 ish to remove and refinish. But as is pretty common it is starting to peel in other areas. So to me just painting the trunk right now is not a step in the right direction.

I came up with the idea to plasti dip it ( for now ) so it protects the metal (after I send the rust off of course) for future painting.
I had a few ideas all of them will be glossy finish. First I wanted to just paint it white again and be done with it and it will match ( mostly lol), second I said why not black ? But then I felt like I would really feel like a high-school kid ... Third some funky colour ( bright of course) or fourth just be el cheapo and spray it with paint even though I think this is the worst option.

I even thought why not experiment and plasti dip the whole trunk/emblems and then glow in the dark spray the emblems lol.

What does everyone else think ?

 

Chalk board paint. And get some street chalk and bring it to shows.

 

I had that on my last vert and I kept ending up with D**** on my car lol. I wouldn't mind doing it again. Great idea thanks

 

I say a big Poster Of Aaron Cake..lol!...Then hang some hair out of the trunk...(I'm gonna get shot for this..hahaha!)

 

Vinyl decal of Aaron would last longer I would think :P

The hair is unbelievable, everyone knows I can't even fit a 6 pack in the trunk hahaha
