jeez Dave Im gonna have to payin you for advertisment...do you accept old tim horton's cups? j/k

If you'd like me to give you a quote, stop by somtime or send me detailed picturesand give me aidea of how far you want to go, how long you want it to last, and how well you want it to look ( I know I know, PERFECT, hehe)

But for general info, a BASIC solid paint job on a car very minimal to no body work - $1500-1800

and the scale slides from there......actually, climbs is a better word.....

I hope you have a good email server, 'cause as soon as my car comes out you can count on a plethora of detailed pictures on what I have planned in a year or so's time.

i don't have any recent pics... but i can tell you the hood and roof are really bad, the clear is all cracked and foggy. There is also a rust spot about the size of a nickle (maybe a quarter now) at the front of the roof where it meets the windshield (could there be a worse spot?) and also on the front panel after the bumper, but i might be able to find a rust free panel to replace it...

other than that and a small dent that i don't care about, the doors and fenders are in great shape.

anyway.... if i can get some pictures together i will post them....

I have checked with a few friends of mine located in the Scarborough / Markham area, and they have recommend a few body shops on the midland / lawrence area . Prices I have got from them so far are

800 For a basic paint job (same color) decent job

1500 for any color selection and body work (including installation of body kits / rust work etc)

2000 for a show finish any type of custom body work you suggest / body kits / rust and any damage (if the car has been hit has frame damage etc etc).

pm if you need information on the shop location hes currently booked back a bit and will be working on one of my cars (i have had 3 cars in the past done with him)

ciao 4 now

also.

if somone ever asks you if you want to do base/clear or enamel, you want base/clear!

And you probably want' someone else to paint it if they are even asking you.

You can spend anywhere from $300 to $12,000 for a paintjob.
