Thats my vote
^This, or just paint the whole topside. Not a fan of bare CF, screams "RICE" and brings to mind endless crap-box Civics with 17" rims, CF hoods and wings, and 90whp. Just sayin'

This isn't the exact one, but you get the point. The one I'd seen actually looked better...but I think this one looks pretty good. You still get the awesome CF texture, yet somewhat of a colour match. That way you get to show off your CF

Think I'm going to go with painting it completely. The carbon louvers would stick out too much on my car.

I like how every picture looks like your head is about to snap off.

That's cause I lean into corners to try to counter the gforce since I still run stock seats.

The hood matches the lip and black window surrounds.
I say keep it, but if your even thinking about painting then you've already made the decision.

Id work on wheel fitment over paint... the rears look sunken in alot of those pics.

Those are some great pics Marco! The FD looks very natural in that enviroment.

Personally, I think you should paint the hood. For whatever reason, the car looks "not done" when the hood is left unpainted.

I think you need to paint it. I know its beautiful the way it is but your car has that beautiful IBM blue color to it and its soo clean the hood sort of stands out like a sore thumb. Either way still looks good i can already tell my comment would be of no benefit to you lol.

I say paint it...umm yep paint it.

In the above video it looks decent with it not completely painted. Here is another one that has the vents not painted. Could be the color but this one is not my taste https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...7#post10170927 post 21976

^Yikes is right. I'm no expert but it's most likely the high-contrast between the black and light-blue that throws it off for me. This, and the fact that the headlights are also black, and thats too much going on in that one area of the hood. The louvres wouldn't stand out as much on the dark blue, but it still seems to be up in the air as to whether it would look good or not.
Any news to report thewird?
