Alright well as most of the Ottawa guys know I finally got my car working well and tuned. I want to try to make the most of the bit of season that is left. I wanted to drop a few ideas ahead of time and see if there is interest.

1. First off this weekend. I just want to know who is going to MTL and who is going to the 509 cruise? Would like to know who is going where, and I'm sure other would like to know who intends on going somewhere so they can decide where to go to.

2. Oct 2nd, auto-x, i belive its the last. I am going for sure and Aaron said he is most likely going. Who else is Interested? I think Jason said he was going in another post?

3. If possible it would be nice to head down to luskville. Cruise there with some a bunch of rx's and then try out some drag to see how we do. Would anybody be interested in this? IF so throw out some dates as the season is comming to an end.

Seems like alot of ****, but maybe 2 out of 3 wont be bad. Not counting on the luskville thing but i think it would be good. Let me know what you think.

hell yes! i'm up for doing lots of stuff also.
and this time i WILL make it to autocross. it's going to take either a mechanical failure or a family member dying to stop me!

 

I can't promise much else, but it looks like I will be in MTL this weekend.

 

i will most likely go to montreal aswell, not sure though...

i will hoping to go to the auto-x on oct 2nd aswell

 

Cant wait to try the auto-x out, hopefully my suspension will be in by then to replace the tired old stock stuff.

Sorry for anyone that wanted to participate but i have decided to cancel the 509 cruise for this year. Lack of commitment was the reason

 

So I know that Aaron, Jason and myself are doing autocross this weekend (assuming I get my suspension installed). Is anybody else in?.... Even if you guysn arent going to try you should come out and watch...

for anyone wanting to participate at tommorows auto-x, you should be at the corel center parking lot #9 no later than 8:30 cause new participants must get a tech inspection...

WOO HOO. yes, that was awesome...sure, i only stayed on course 3/5 runs, but damn fun
car felt great, and i'm glad nothing broke (at least not that i know of, lol).

thanks to everyone who made it out. really great day and some good racing, except for the incident that ended the day.

can't wait for next year, i think maybe i'll do a whole season

hey hey, i said "incident", not accident

but yeah, it was just something with one of the participants (not an RX-7, lol). they went off-course quite harshly...but anyways, maybe it's better not to say anymore than that on the public internet...i'll tell you all about it in person though

 

Nice to meet a few of you - finally. Couldn't have asked for a nicer fall/summer day.

Too bad it was the last one of the season. I think I'll go watch some more of them when I'm not away on our boat next season. Its kind of fun to watch various different cars pushed ot their limits (especially the stock ones), and see how they REALLY handle.

Got a lot more respect for what a Miata can do after seeing that turbo one today!

Bet I know one guy who's sleeping on the couch tonight! lol
