Ontario emissions (exempt areas)

Ontario emissions (exempt areas)

tryin this post in the Canadian forum..parts of Ontario are Exempt for emissions testing..I was wondering if anyone could tell me roughly the areas closest to the Ottawa Valley that are emission Exempt..(tried www.driveclean.com..from pamplet,but it wouldn't hook up)..Thanks in advance..(is Renfrew,Pembroke exempt?)

Well I know that we here in Bruce County dont have to worry about this drive clean crap.....we arent very close to the Ottawa area though.
If you look at a map we are about an 8hr drive directly west of Ottawa, right on Lake Huron.

i'll try to check when i go back to Pembroke for the holidays. i didn't think they had any chassis dynos for e-testing, but they might have idle emissions test or something, and of course visual inspection.

I sort of found a way,without moving!..I got an 86!..gonna do the paper work and what have you in 2006 ..since the car is "now" 20 years old..it is exempt for emissions testing..got the info from the Horse's Mouth..(DRIVE CLEAN ONTARIO..the emissions main office)..now to get rid of snow and winter..anyone know where I can buy a time accelerator?!!!

we were suppossed to be RID OF IT by next year, wtf!
