actually
caravan is a much older word than even "train" haha
Everyone is welcome to show up at my place (in leamington) anytime on the thursday, I have the whole day booked off work.
Depending on your interests, I can't promise a whole day of non-boring activities, unless you just want to hang out in my garage or something. :P

My car is still under a tarp, without a carb, and intake hacked to bits. Waiting for the snow to leave and my Sterling to show up, so I can go outside and finish up. Ah the downside of not having a garage. Also, due to financial problems over Christmas I won't be getting my RESpeed R&P kit or strut bar, at least not until after the trip. So I have less work to actually do. Unfortunatly I won't be joining you guys for the keys though. I only booked off enough time to go down to the gap and spend the weekend and drive back. Too bad, but maybe next year.

Looks like we are all getting closer to putting the cars back together.
On mine I installed the Aux injection driver and wired it to my Haltech. FMIC pipe is getting a bung welded to house the aux injector and getting a plate fabricated to house the methanol pump.
Not to much longer and I should be done.
See you guys soon.

I have always wanted to go for a ride in a sterling- powered FB, I've really been considering buying one for mine (as well as an exhaust), maybe going for a ride in yours will push me over the edge.
No progress on my car - except I bought bushings today and plan on buying tires on tuesday.

She run's! Started the car for the first time since a few months. Installed the UIM and redone some wiring on the E8. AI kit is installed just needs final line from the jug to pump and a test run to see if its all wired correctly.
Car is sitting without wheels/front bumper and miscel parts missing still.
A few more days work It should be good to go to the DGRR!
Not to much longer and we are all going down!
Thewird!
Your getting that turbo rebuild my BNR? Nice. Your going to have alot of work to do..

Just so everyone knows, RPM will be providing roadside assistance to anyone who may need it on the drive down there and back.
We will be taking our F250 with our 24ft enclosed trailer with a full tool box, jacks, stands, spares, parts and belts ect just in case. It would really suck to be left stranded on the side of the road and left behind because of something that *could* be fixed on the side of the road.
Thought Id let everyone know, maybe it will encourage some others to come out!
