I think I can settle this "How far should we go" debate. When the first guy starts to say he's getting tired, we start looking for a place to stop. Everyone needs to be honest with themselves though. No need to push too hard. If your getting a little sleepy, say so. We can grab a case of H2O beer from the local convenience store/tire shop/gun emporium. At least they have Coors, which is made by the same company that makes Canadian, so that should do the trick. Put a few down and call it a night. There's a ton of places on the way to stop, so it won't be long before we can get off the road. This way, no one will be driving along struggling to stay awake. I've been there too many times and it's scary as hell wondering if your going to make it or not.

HAHA that's awesome. Makes alot of sense though. Kinda of goes along with the giant ADULT stores and fireworks stands that are littered along most of the interstates. Some are the size of small shopping plazas.

It'd be an effin SWEET ride through miles and miles of bridges and turqoise seas. I've always had a vision of cruising the 7 through there.
we're only another day away from FL after we're done at deal's gap. We'd probably be into a 2nd day getting to the bottom of FL and onto the keys - but I think it'd be freakin amazing!
Then turn around and take a little improvised route back! gawd im excited.
oh...i *think* i added you just now on MSN too, FYI

yeah, I'm down for that
The law just changed today (feb 1) to require 2 pieces of ID in a car.... before I guess they'd let you cross with one. (I never tried with one, I've always used at least 2)
I've always wanted to go all the way to key west.... it's GOTTA be awesome down there.

I can confirm you need two pieces of ID. I travel across the border every other week. At this point you only need a passport to Fly, But it would be a good idea to use it at the border, if you have one( they'll give you less hassle).

Birth Certificate and 1 Government issued picture I.D required for all ground and water crossings. By air you need your passport now. Since your in your car your license would make sense. But next year that all changes so you might as well go get your passport now.

OK, I did some digging so birth cirtificate still isn't required as long as you have a passport or citizenship card (which I usually show both)...

Add a couple cars from RPM to the list;
Just found out today that we have to make the trip down to meet up with some people. Hopefully we'll be taking the '72 RX-2 and the '76 RX-4 coupe.
