Did anyone else notice they actually did the rotary combustion animation for Keisuke's FD like they've doing for Takumi's 86 in the opening? I thought that was pretty sweet. Don't think any series or movie has ever done that.

And eww, they didn't use a M.O.V.E. ending.

Wow, I'd almost forgotten how gawd-awful FnF was... although I agree with Ian the 3 seconds of the rotary engine internals was easily the best part of the movie. Best acting and the most realistic characterization in the whole mess.

Doesn't the rotary engine in FnF rotate in reverse?

 

Yes, I noticed that too, since they come up on it from the rear after passing by the transmission. Which doesn't change the fact that little animation is the most realistic, best thought-out part of the whole movie!

redokulous eps, still hasnt gotten interesting yet tho. seems like they're gonna pace themselves on this 5stage and build up the characters more (seems like they're gonna focus on keisuke more so than tak) i hope sooooooo.

 

oh i have the speedmaster movie.. if its the one i think it is, its got a guy that sorta looks like adam lambert in 300zx.. storyline is ***** but the FC is redonkulously awesome.. made me want a white FC all over again when i watched it.

 

 

I'm watching Speed Master now... it's entertainingly bad. Obviously, they are going for extreme realism here.

 

speed master is best watched for the story.
