Hello gang.
Just wanted to say “Hi” and introduce myself.

Some of you may already know me from the Miata community however for those who do not here’s a quick biography.
My name is Dave and I work at Oakville Mazda.

I have been a Mazda enthusiast for a long time.
Along with a fellow Miata enthusiast and my wife, I helped to start the Meeting of the Mazda’s that has now grown to be the largest Ontario gathering for Mazda-heads like ourselves.
I currently sit on the newly formed MOM committee and we are looking to make the next MOM a spectacular event with Mazda Canada’s assistance.

I currently own 2 modified Miata’s and I belong to 2 Ontario based Miata clubs.
My previous Mazda’s have included a gaggle of Miata’s, a 2002 Protégé and get this….an AWD Protégé, yes you did read that right, Mazda made a very small amount of AWD Protégé’s.
I’m looking at an RX8 for my next vehicle and love reading all of the positive comments about the car.
Will likely be purchasing a White RX8 in the next couple days.

Actually there are some crazy deals on RX8's right now.

This is the main reason I'm looking at the new RX8, I just can't pass up this offer!

i think white is my favorite colour on the RX-8s. have fun with the 8, i'm sure it won't be hard to.

 

welcome Dave, could you give us some preliminary info on the next MOM?

 

The 2007 MOM planning is underway.
Along with Mazda Canada's assistance we hope to make this a massive Mazda enthusiast event on par with Sevenstock.

Still trying to get things worked out and we are actually having a meeting this Sunday.
Will be pitching a few ideas to Mazda in the near future.
Can't really say much as of yet but once things are cemented I'll update everyone with details.

Trying to get June or July dates to insure great sunny warm weather.
