Welcome into your own personal trip into insanity.
If there's no pics, it's not real! So get some pics up of your new obsession.

here she is, not much to see yet.

the car came with brand new kyb excel g front and rear, pacesetter header, magnaflow cat and muffler, energy susp. swaybar endlinks and bushings front and rear all needing to be installed.

there seems to be an oil leak from the rear of oil pan. gonna put her up on the ramps this weekend to clean it and have a better view of where the leak might be coming from.

car has little dings but no rust which is good. the power antenna stopped working when i picked up the car but i can still hear the motor chugging but the it's not going anywhere. the driver side door panel has a tear on the vinyl by the window. the one thing i dont like, the original owner had an after market sunroof put in and is now leaking by the handle.

hope to meet new people here and learn more about the car.

Your first modification should be to source out a short radiator with the oil cooler underneath and get rid of the beehive or an SE cooler which sits in front of the radiator (like FC's).

Or you could fix the oil leak

Welcome to the brotherhood Eric!

I've done the exact thing, mounted an FC oil cooler under the rad (which is the way it used to be prior to 1984/85 models) and still kept the beehive for even extra oil cooling & capacity.

Feel free to reach out for local help, I live here in Toronto and have had my Fb since ..... 1985 when I was but a child.

Beehive leak fixed. Got the o rings and crush washers from scarborough mazda for free.
Now i understand why almost everybody that has it hates it.
Took about 45 mins to remove and another 15 to put it back on.
Need to cancel the oil cooler conversion for a bit, my daily driver needs attention.
