New race track in Ontario!

Is this true? Looks like it has been 18 months in the works. Land has already been bought. Looks legitimate to me.

Except "rovals", the road courses designed within the perimeter of an oval are typically lame. Here's hoping though...

From: Toronto, Canada eh!
Consider the location: hundreds of hotels within a 20 kilometer range, and only a few kilometers from the world famous Niagara Falls. Smack dab in the middle of Toronto and Detroit. This may perhaps be the best located track in all of North America!
Makes sense to me...I'm rather excited about the talk about F1...

I heard that NASCAR has no plans of holding a race there. Might throw a wrench into the plans- unless the investors have huge a$$ kahunas.

did they move fort erie or something?

Because the last time I checked, detroit - toronto = 3.5 hours
detroit - fort erie = 3.5 hours.

Not exactly "smack dab in the middle" in fact it's not even close to being on the way.

Windsor gets screwed again. At least we'll have another track in ontario!
