Yeah those truck tires are monsters. About 100-150Lbs a piece. I had to throw one in a dumpster once, almost destroyed my back. Sad to see it happen to a 7. I know what you mean by getting flustered and shocked after an accident. I had one with my moms Saturn when I was 17. Myself and another driver both backed out of parking spaces right into each other. Both of us were at fault but I got nervous and worried so I started spouting off about it being all my fault and so on. Even after being told numerous times to never admit fault. All got cleared up with the insurance though. Also I believe anything over $1000 in damage has to be reported. Period. Good luck on the repairs. See who your insurance company uses and check them out before the car goes in.

Thats a shitty situation. At least he admitted it. Get a quality shop to do it, get it back to normal, and most times you can end up getting an entire new paint job and extras... granted not exactly the "legit" route, but its a game..

Another little update.. My insurance company sent an appraiser to check out my car. Lucky for me, the guy knows what an RX-7 is, he used to race the older RX's back home in Trinidad & Tobago he says. We chit chatted a bit about the car, and then he says he will be getting in contact with my shop of choice (Joe at Classic Auto) and we'll go from there. So far so good.
Thanks for the well wishes guys. And David, how are you doing? I hope to see more of you with your FD this season!

Don't ever cheap out on body work. It's not worth it. It can make cars unsafe.

She's fixed!
Hey guys, an update for you. I took the car to Joe at Classic Auto and he took great care of her. They do awesome work over there and Joe's very friendly and helpful!
A couple of after shots.. looks like nothing's happened at all.
This weekend's weather is friggen perfect. I washed, clay bar'd, and waxed the car, and now I'm going out to enjoy this weather with some driving.

What happened to the FD? I haven't been seeing you on Elgin Mills at all, it's been a long time. Maybe I'm just going to work a little late now-a-days, haha.. Anyway, guess your car? Hmmmm.. another FD? I have no idea.
