So Work has been insane and I haven't worked on the car at all. But the carb is done. Float bowl enlarged, and it was completely rebuilt but Robert at Rotaryshack. Seems that he is the only one getting things done for my car... Hope I can get at the body work soon.
That is just too pretty.....
What part of the dash are you trying to get out? It all comes out one piece at a time. Dash pad is one of the last ones to get at. Several bolts right below the glass, need to remove lots to get at them!
Good luck with the build!

IAN: Thanks. If my car can look as good as yours I'll be happy.
RX7(613): I hope to get it on the road this year just to work out some mechanical bugs, then next winter, clean it up and have a complete and show worthy car for 2012. But I need to make way more progress than I currently am for that time line to work.
orion84gsl: I had thought the same thing, but I plan to convert the car to 5x114.3 in the future so not gonna get those wheels until I've done the swap.
EDSRX3: Dash is out now. Had some issues but I eventually got it. Thanks
Watase: I'm glad you like it. What year and trim is the one by you? I need some parts. The owner willing to sell?

So things are going well with the car. Got some more of the body stripped, and started to peel some old paint and bondo off. No real scary finds so far. Motor is coming along. Just back from the machine shop. Got it pinned. I wasn't sure if I was going to bother with pinning or not but after some long discussion with Robert, I decided to go ahead with it. He has a great method for it, and when I'm going this far with the motor, why not go the extra mile. No new pics but hope to get some work done so that it can go for the first stage of paint in the next couple weeks. Basically floors, trunk, underneath and engine bay.

So got a couple hours of work done on the old girl today. Got some more interior out and started sanding. Sanding may take longer than I had thought it may. But here is a pic just for fun. Nothing to see really. Just threads are always better with pics.
