Moving To Canada
It's possible. In 2003 a couple of Democratic senators tried to reintroduce conscription by converting the already-on-the-books Selective Service System, but it was defeated. This year they've introduced another similar bill.
My beater threw a con rod - it actually smashed through the side of the engine block, just beside the oil filter! Bought a new, rebuilt short block with 1 year warranty for $650. Those 2.2s are dirt cheap to repair, hrmm?
Move to Kelowna in B.C's Okanagan Valley. Kelowna (population 110,000) is surrounded by pristine beaches, world famous wineries, exciting ski resorts, championship golf courses and abundant orchards. It is also a very safe, friendly and economical city. Kelowna's mild climate, warm summers (Avg. 35C) and over 300 days of sunshine per year make it a year round resort destination. 3.5 Hours away from Vancouver BC. Where stated above has some top notch rotary tuners.
Im from Montreal, Qc and there are not many RX-7's around here, so when you see one on the street it's definately a head turner. We've got quite a few local drag strips. One meets twice a week and charges 5 bucks a race (http://www.napiervilledragway.com). Anyways it's a fun place to live. lots of action (not to mention we have canada's Grand Prix). Definately a place to concider if you're thinking of moving up here.
-cheers.
-cheers.
Hmm... last time I was grocey shopping at the commissary or running errands at Travis AFB or Fort Sill I didn't see any blood/crip recruitment postings, any graffiti or tagging... odd. Canada will always be America's bitch.
